Small by design, generous in feel. The Wickhams Room is a warmly traditional space with natural light, a private bottle bar and flexible seating for intimate celebrations and focused meetings.
Opened in 1994, Wickhams was created by converting three first-floor classrooms into a 50-seater dining suite with cocktail bar. The original decision preserved the room’s bright, traditional feel – part of the wider story of a manor-house estate that has served local families and organisations for decades.

Your guests settle quickly, the bar service keeps things moving smoothly, the projector supports slideshows, and our team coordinates timings for courses and speeches. All catering is provided in-house, with generous buffet or plated options and thoughtful dietary provision on request. Music through the in-room system is ideal for this space.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, Wickhams suits vows among your closest people, followed by a seated meal for up to 40 and an evening for up to 50. The tiered layout creates a gentle aisle for a picturesque entrance.
Pair the room with our grounds for portraits and the bar for a sparkling, sociable finish. Catering is in-house for this room.
Accessibility, facilities, and logistics
Wickhams is on the first floor with lift access to the level; the room itself is tiered with a few internal steps dividing two open areas. This means it may not suit all mobility needs. Our team will advise on seating plans and best approach routes for guests. Parking is free across the estate and can include reserved disabled bays by arrangement.
