Perched on the first floor of our historic manor, The Directors Room is a pocket of pure focus. Drenched in natural light from large windows overlooking the serene bowls green, and warmed by a handsome feature fireplace, this space is designed for gatherings that matter. It’s a private discussion room that feels both intellectually stimulating and personally welcoming, perfect for confidential meetings, strategic away-days, or the most intimate of wedding ceremonies.

The room’s scale and privacy suit as board, directors, or private discussion rooms where confidentiality is essential. Local associations and neighbourhood groups can also book the space as a discreet Council room hire option, thanks to free parking and calm surroundings. We host regular governance meetings, policy reviews and signings. 

Our coordinator will welcome your chair, arrange placards and ensure documents are set out before guests arrive.

Facilities and AV made easy 

Present via the projector while the in-room sound system supports voice and media. Wi-Fi is site-wide, and we can provide a microphone if requested in advance. If your agenda needs a quick toast or canapés after proceedings, our in-house kitchen and bar will put together something fitting without interrupting your schedule.       

Choose from our convenient range of DDR packages for great value. 

Dietary requirements are gladly accommodated with prior notice. Ask about customisations or adding a neighbouring room for breakouts when numbers grow.

Guests reach the first floor via lift or staircase. Ladies’ and gents’ toilets are on the same level.  The accessible toilets are on the ground floor by the Conservatory entrance.    

Parking across the estate is free, with disabled bays located at the entrance.
