Membership
How to become a member:
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Serving or retired Police Officers or Police Staff who have:
1-Submitted to the secretary a written application
2-Consented in writing to be a guarantor and voting member of the Club
3-Paid the applicable subscription
Full Members on being accepted will become voting members, able to participate at the AGM or an EGM, and a guarantor of the Club (but only to the maximum of their subscription of £1 or any other amount as set by the Directors).
ORDINARY MEMBERS
All serving or retired Police Officers and Police Staff who are not Full Members
*All retired Police Officers and Police Staff need to apply for a membership card
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
1-Children of Full or Ordinary Members who have attained the age of 18 years
2-Serving and former members of the Metropolitan Police Special Constabulary
3-The Mother and Father of a Full or Ordinary Member
4-Any serving or retired Officer of a United Kingdom Police Service
5-Any other fit and proper person at the discretion of the Directors/Committee. (This only refers to someone with a special affinity to the MPS or the Club)
Every applicant for Associate Membership shall:
1-Submit a written application in the prescribed form
2-Be proposed and seconded by a Full or Ordinary Member who are responsible for the applicant's eligibility
3-Pay the applicable subscription set by the Directors/Committee
HONORARY MEMBERS
1-Employees of the Club
2-Serving members of the MPA
3-Life members of the Metropolitan Police Athletic Association
4-The spouse or partner of a Full or Ordinary Member or the widow or widower of a deceased Full or Ordinary Member.
5-Children under the age of 18 of a Full or Ordinary Member or a deceased Full or Ordinary Member.
